I started this page with the tree because it appealed to me in the moment. I was especially drawn to the roots and the caves with the little beings inside. I related with the little beings nestled in there. It reminded me of being grounded and remembering my roots, or where I came from, like a past part of me that will forever be protected.
This piece grew into a reminder to stay connected and true to myself; to always look within for the answers that I sometimes seek elsewhere, and at the same time allow my curiosity to keep me excited about the wonder of new possibilities.
