Earworms

The symbolism of trauma in the body is depicted by the nervous and circulatory systems (shown by the large blue area). The trauma is symbolized by the patterned "earworms", which are searching for the weakness or a place to invade. The artist Escher is represented in this work at the bottom center with the stairs going down and up which means further chaos. Stop the abuse is shown by the hand and stop sign and brick wall.  The "packaged" hope is boxed for protection with flowers to appease the senses of smell, sight, and rebirth after traumatic events.
